A few days ago, I found a Craigslist post in which a man offered to exchange several Wii games in his possession for cigarettes. Being the compassionate avatar of benevolence that I am, I kindly suggested that he sell them to Gamestop because he’d get they money for several packs of cigarettes by doing that. Being cheap, I sent a second email the next day saying, “Screw what I said before, I’ll bring some smokes for your games.” I received the following in reply:
“i just took em to gamestop with my crackhead ass'”
So, in the end, our friend was able to maximize his cigarette earning power by doing what I said in my first email and ignoring what I said in my second email. That counts as performing a good deed, right?
