Personal opinion: Most funny songs aren’t actually funny. I don’t know what it is, but comedy tends to go with music the way cats go with a seafood buffet: Two things I love, but then the cats get into your shrimp, and it’s a whole thing. But, occasionally, comedy and music get it just right, like a seafood buffet with an appropriate amount of cat shields. Today, I’m joined by Brian Duss, Bizzy Fain and Yancey Burns, all stalwarts of DC’s comedy scene, to discuss our picks for funny songs that are actually funny. So, not only do you get a funny podcast, you then get to seek out the funny songs we mention afterward. Play your cards right, and you won’t get a damn thing done today.
