Every so often, I see things in my daily life that make me do a double take. Here is one of those items, an ad I found waiting for me on the top of my pizza box, of all places.
Now, no offense to Donald, and I’m glad he takes pride in his first (and last) initial, but…he could have chosen a better name for his company. While I’m not saying a phone conversation like this has ever taken place, I am, because it’s funny to imagine:
PARENT HOSTING A CHILD’S BIRTHDAY PARTY: So, Sarah will be at Billy’s birthday party this Saturday?
SARAH’S MOM: Of course, she wouldn’t miss it for the world! What exactly do you have for the kids to do, again?
PARTY PARENT: Oh, it’s going to be great. There’s going to be a moon bounce.
SARAH’S MOM: That sounds fun!
PARTY PARENT: Doesn’t it? And there’s going to be a clown who makes balloon animals and paints faces!
SARAH’S MOM: Wow, I hope he has time for me! *small, fake laugh*
PARTY PARENT: And, best of all, I got a Big D for the kids to take turns riding.
SARAH’S MOM: *stunned silence* Excuse me?
PARTY PARENT: Yeah, it’s going to be great. They’ll just hop on and it’ll go round and round for hours.
SARAH’S MOM: I think it best our children never speak again.
