In the hunt to create more content for the site, it dawned on me and Pete that we spend a lot of time in the car yapping. From driving back and forth to the station we record the show at to running over Hungarians for sport, much of our time together is spent seated and buckled as we cultivate the pear-shaped, new norm American physique. So why not film these conversations so you can maybe get a laugh (and watch our bodies, or at least our guts, revert back to primordial ooze before your very eyes).
I don’t recall the exact content of this one because we recorded it before we banged out the Goodnight, Sweet Prince episode a few days ago. And, as much as I hate hearing my own voice, I hate hearing my own voice as I watch it come out of my greying chubskull that much more. So we’re going to go by my memory. And, from what I remember, I told the story of a friend who once revealed that she was peed on by a boyfriend before lecturing me on how much more normal she was than I was.
Now, I’m not very judgmental. Live and let live and all that. But, if you’re going to make a case for your own normalcy, perhaps make it before, not after, revealing more peoples’ urine than just your own have touched your flesh in any capacity.
