And, most damning of all, my plan to devour two sandwiches before the show on Subway’s “Buy One, Get One Free” Day was foiled by the fact that six million other mouth-breathers had the same idea, leaving me to recharge my batteries with day-old donut holes someone left in the green room. What an absolute Hell we live in.
