While working at WJFK many moons ago, I became good friends with Othello, the producer who worked the shift before me. Through the years, we’ve often talked about doing something – anything – creative together during countless trips to Hooters where we ate away our frustrations with life tot by tot.
During our last visit, we vowed to start doing a show with Papa’s Basement co-host Pete Maybe. This is the result of that idea. If you listen to Papa’s Basement, it isn’t radically different. But there is a different vibe to it, and it’s uncensored, so I hope you enjoy it. Fingers crossed, there are plenty more to come.
