If I had to play the racial stereotype odds, Leslie Jones is a comedian who would be most often described as "sassy."

I’m not really familiar with Leslie Jones. She’s apparently on SNL, and produced this bit of wisdom for the show (which resonates with me as I come to grips with the reality that, with each passing day, my odds of making it as they relate to my age look roughly like this.) She also starred in Paul Feig’s recent Ghostbusters film.

Last week, Twitter trolls started sending her a lot of shitty things, the majority of which (either in word or image) likened her to an ape. After doing her best to fight back, Leslie decided she had enough and tapped out of the Twitter arena. We discuss the incident, Twitter’s response to it, as well as Melania Trump’s speech and appearance at the Republican National Convention this week on the latest episode of Papa’s Basement. Please share it. If you’re a fan, positive word of mouth is the greatest thing you can do for the show.
