Julianne Hough was recently seen dressed for Halloween as Crazy Eyes (pictured above) from Orange Is the New Black, complete with darkened skin. Because this country loves to manufacture outrage, the Internet was abuzz with how thoughtless and offensive her costume was, as if she went out wearing this and wasn’t just some white girl smeared in bronzer. Seriously, Google “Julianne Hough Blackface” right now and you think this chick was the one who had Emmett Till strung up for whistling at her. Especially “offended” was Huffington Post writer Danielle Cadet who took it upon herself to write this racist drivel in defense of her opinion. The article really bugged me, so I fired back.
