Since I love being weeks late to everyone’s topicality party, it’s time to move on to the talk of the Internet circa late-August, the bitchy column Gizmodo intern Alyssa Bereznak wrote about her date with Jon Finkel, a former Magic: the Gathering world champion. I address the two points of debate that the article brings up, namely: 1. Is playing a game as geeky as Magic a deal breaker with most girls? and 2. Who would want to stick their dick into this melty-faced gargoyle anyhow? Just more of the highbrow entertainment that’s come to be synonymous with the Papa’s Basement brand. Enjoy!

One of my buddies has been playing MtG since he was 7, and he’s made a net profit on the hobby, including paying for trips to tournaments in other countries. That said, one look at him and you can tell he’s a virgin.
