Having Fun with the CafePress Teddy Bear

A few months ago while killing time online at work (I hope some of you can relate to that), I stumbled upon this photo:

I know what you’re thinking: “John, why were you Googling the words ‘anal’ and ‘bear?'” (If you weren’t thinking that, you are now.) That’s not the point. What is the point is that I discovered a source of infinite entertainment, the customizable CafePress Bear.

The bear, left to his own devices, is innocent enough. He’s white, he’s puffy, he has the welcoming pose of a drunken coed blacked out on a frat house bed. It’s the fact that you can personalize the message on the bear’s tummy (or add an image) that makes him so amusing. For example, here he is looking rather smart with the Papa’s Basement logo emblazoned upon him:

Here he is doing a little bragging (I guess those outstretched arms don’t mean he’s looking for a hug):

And here he is confiding in us a personal secret:
