Don’t Think Twice — Papa’s Basement 508

John Papageorgiou September 12, 2016

Background
I haven't seen Mike Bribiglia's "Don't Think Twice" yet because it's still in fewer theaters than a YouTube clip, but it's about improv and so is this episode, so here is an image from it. Also, way to crop Gillian Jacobs at the neck, whoever shot this: Why not take Pavarotti's voice from him while you're busy robbing the most appealing aspect from beloved people with huge tits?

Let’s be honest: Improv class is a lot like Alcoholics Anonymous. You’re in a room with a bunch of other tortured souls you only know on a first name basis because your life isn’t where you want to be and something needs to change before you wind up dead. That’s why Othello, Chris, Pete and John (aka your friend and faithful narrator) found themselves in the bowls of the DC Improv this past Saturday acting the fools and having quite the good time before returning to the drudgery of everyday life. Pete and I summarize our time in class, we debate why firemen and cops get all the love when there are plenty of more dangerous jobs out there and the rules for giving cash to hobos you see at intersections on the latest Papa’s Basement. And you know the rules: If you’ve read this far, you have to share this episode on your Facebook wall. We live in a society of laws. Respect that.
